We have been associated with a small boat, about 30 km on the Mekong (idyllic) from our last location to the small island of Don Khon - very good transfer, the same price as the country version, only one has a beautiful , 1 1/2-hour boat ride there. reside here we are in a small wood-bamboo bungalow with a small terrace and Hammock and views of the Mekong (Kampheng Guest House, relatively close to the bridge). We have an evening beer and taste the really good Lao Lao, Laos typical brandy, which also helps the digestion of the jumps. Yesterday longer hike around the island (to the southern tip), where we saw waterfalls, but unfortunately no dolphins that exist here. In the evening Laotian specialty, fish with vegetables, which if the sharpness of our taste buds went quite affected - still good.
Today, a shorter session, during which we crossed a suspension bridge and could see people in their daily work and craft. Then we walk around the neighboring island of Don Det, tomorrow to continue his journey homeward to Cambodia. Our skin color is adapting to even the local people.
